Let's Peacefully Debate DIDDY!

This was not Diddy's first time falling on the wrong side of the law... In 2001, Diddy (a/k/a Puff Daddy or Brother Love) walked away from serious criminal charges. Johnnie Cochran Jr. and Benjamin Brafman, his lawyers, made it happen.

Almost no Black person wants to see a successful Black person fall from grace. To be honest, neither do I. Most of us did not want to see Mr. Cosby's image get tarnished. Nearly none of us wanted OJ to be guilty even though he had essentially betrayed the Black community and was a White man living in a Black man's body whose wife and entire entourage was White and whose life was an exact replica of a White man's life. OJ really could do no wrong. He was "DAT NIGG*". But we used our confirmation biases to grant such Blacks with SAINTHOOD STATUS... We did the same for Michael Jackson and others that are very talented and wealthy... it's kind of the same thing that most Whites are now doing with CHARLIE KIRK.

In short, most Blacks want to see other Blacks beat the system for once because they perceive the system as one that is set up for the failure of Blacks (particularly Black men.) And to be candid, in some many ways, it is! (smile). However, there are some characters that are simply depraved and heartless no matter what their race are and they just simply happen to be Black. The question that is one should pose is: IS DIDDY ONE OF THOSE?

Let's be honest. Diddy's Dad was a well-known New York Criminal and so is Diddy. The fruit does not fall too far away from the tree type of argument, except until recently, Diddy created an image that hid his criminal enterprise very well as a producer and designer, but all celebrities either knew or should have known about Diddy's activities especially if they went to his parties or after-parties. Allegations have been surfacing about Diddy for a long-time as one who have silently killed many enemies and even the mother of one of his children... and even Tupac Shakur. Other allegations include his homosexual activities during his FREAK-OFFs. Yet so many still attend his AFTER-PARTIES, which tells me that they also enjoyed his gay/bi FREAK-OFFS. Lastly, Diddy is alleged to be a pedophile who apparently groomed people like USHER and BIEBER. Well, Usher is alleged to have gotten HERPES from him and BIEBER is clearly a disturbed young man.

In a nutshell, Diddy's image went from allegations to "Villainization" when a video of him physically assaulting his girlfriend Cassie at a hotel surfaced. And despite settling with her out of court for a lot of money, the FEDS were in on him. He is definitely highly intelligent and willing to pay a hefty about. I mean, The Great Johnnie Cochran saved him simply because Diddy was a young Black man even though he knew that Diddy was more likely than not GUILTY.

DEBATE QUESTIONS

1. Did the Feds simply want to protect as many VIPs as possible?

2. Did they want Diddy to provide all the tapes for a guaranteed lesser time in jail? (i.e., was he hushed for faster freedom?)

3. Is Diddy invincible? Considering that he seems to have been both his 2001 and 2025 cases to some extent - cases that happened in a 24-year span, which could have destroyed even the most powerful or wealthiest of men (e.g., Epstein.)

  1. Since a crime is a public wrong (e.g., the People vs. Diddy), is American Jurisprudence nearly inept or incapable of rendering justice to the Public or do prosecutors commit legal malpractice when they fail to provide the correct outcomes?

  2. Should Stars like Diddy who commit CRIMES OF MORAL TURPITUDE be required to give their money away to help poor children (especially poor Black children in ghettos like Compton and Englewood) since instead of so doing they were too busy engaging in illegalities or questionable behaviors, which many other powerful Americans apparently condoned. It is alleged that even pastors like TD JAKES attended Diddy parties too. SMDH.

I'd like to do a ZOOM DEBATE on this, which I'll add to this later, but for now, feel free to commend on this article.

IN A RUSH~ but I dedicate this article to my late business partner, THE GREAT REED SAWYER, who I love with all my heart. Part of me died when I got the news of his passing. THIS ONE REALLY STINGS!
